Evaluate new and renewal submissions for various lines of business, including property, casualty, and specialty risks

Analyze risk exposures, loss history, and other relevant data to determine appropriate coverage and pricing

Make sound underwriting decisions within assigned authority levels

Work with carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage for insurance policies

Identify and secure the best possible terms for clients while adhering to company guidelines

Build and maintain strong relationships with retail agents and brokers

Serve as a trusted advisor, providing tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes

Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within assigned territories or lines of business

Partner with senior brokers, underwriters, and other team members to deliver comprehensive solutions

Support the team in achieving sales and revenue targets

Ensure all underwriting and brokering activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Maintain accurate and detailed records of underwriting decisions, communications, and transactions
