Responsibilities

Oversee the production of structural construction documents for public and private sector projects
Perform structural design of commercial, industrial, and civic buildings
Conduct structural condition assessments and prepare technical evaluations
Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communication
Participate in business development, including scoping and bidding new work
Mentor and support the development of junior engineering staff
Coordinate across internal teams and external consultants to ensure project success

Qualification

California PE licenseStructural engineering experienceRISA-3D proficiencyAutoCAD proficiencyCalifornia Building Code knowledgeMicrosoft Office proficiencyREVIT familiarityCommunication skillsProject management

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
California Professional Engineer (PE) license required
4+ years of experience in structural engineering
Experience designing buildings to California Building Code standards
Proficiency in RISA-3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills and ability to manage clients and internal teams

Preferred

California Structural Engineer (SE) license in progress
Familiarity with REVIT, DSA, OSHPD, or bridge design
