Responsibilities

Set the tone for growth, learning, and teamwork in the classroom
Create a classroom environment that fosters students’ awareness and appreciation of traditional Hispanic and Latinx language and culture
Build strong relationships with students to push them to be their best selves both academically and personally
Engage in regular data meetings and participate in approximately 20 administrative observations
Participate in nearly 300 hours of professional development over the course of the school year
Serve as an advisor to mentor students, communicate with families, and share information about colleges and character education
Lead an after-school club or coach a sport for an additional stipend

Native Spanish proficiencyBachelor's degreeLead teaching experienceCultural awarenessCollaboration skills

Required

Bachelor's degree
native Spanish abilities in reading, writing, and speaking
commitment to fostering diversity by cultivating anti-racist practices and removing bias
at least 2 years as a lead teacher
ability to build a joyful classroom culture with high behavioral and academic expectations
professional, warm, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues
ability to start July 2026
