They are looking for a dependable Shop Foreman to manage warehouse operations, ensuring equipment readiness for emergencies, coordinating repairs, and directing shop technicians to maintain efficiency.

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory of HVAC equipment and ancillary materials
Ensure all items are properly labeled, stored, and tracked
Under the direction of the National Service Leader, stage equipment in the shop and yard for testing and repair
Participate in equipment testing and minor repairs as needed
Direct shop technicians to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule
Monitor work quality and provide guidance to ensure safety and performance standards are met
Pull and prepare ancillary materials for outgoing jobs
Inspect and inventory equipment upon return from job sites, noting any damage or maintenance needs
Operate forklifts and Yard Dog vehicles to move equipment safely within the shop and yard
Assist with equipment installations and breakdowns at job sites as needed
Represent the company professionally while on-site
Use company shop trucks for job-related travel; no take-home vehicle is provided
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical, or rental equipment operations
Proficient with forklifts and warehouse operation
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, emergency-response environment
Must have valid driver's license with good driving record
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations
Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc
Must be able to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
Ability to work after business hours, weekends and holidays when needed
Preferred
Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
