Responsibilities

Formulate and communicate a solution, collect/review labor and material costs, and summarize proposal information for senior leadership review

Work with program management to develop the program execution schedule, effectively communicate with the entire program team, and guide the team through the execution of all required tasking to complete the contract

Effectively communicate with external customers and internal senior leadership on the design and implementation of the contractually required capabilities and manage expectations

Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience

Experience with the one or more of the following areas is required: Aero Engineering, Systems Engineering, Project Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Program Management / Senior Leadership / or Functional Management

Experience with the following processes is required: Bidding and Proposal, Program Planning, Guidance, and Execution, Customer Interaction and Communication, Executive Level Interaction and Communication, Engineering Execution (including control of engineering cost, schedule, and technical performance)

TS/SCI Clearance is required

As a Senior Manager, Project Engineer, you will be responsible for various engineering disciplines. Experience with as many of the following engineering disciplines is desired: Project Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering (Electrical, Structural, Mechanical, Stress, Mass Properties, Aerodynamics, etc.), EMI/EMC Engineering, Software/ Hardware Engineering, Test Engineering

It is also desired for this Project Engineering candidate to have the following: Advanced technical and/or management degree, Ability to formulate and communicate a solution, collect/review labor and material costs, and summarize proposal information for senior leadership review, Ability to work with Senior Program Management to develop and support the program execution schedule, effectively communicate with the entire program team, and guide engineering teams through the execution of the contract, Ability to effectively communicate with external customers and internal senior leadership regarding design and implementation of the contractually required capabilities

Experience with the following: Entire Program/Engineering Life Cycle Phases and Activities, Aircraft Modification and Modernization, Airworthiness and FAA Certification processes, Requirements Management, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Products and Platforms, Bid & Proposal Development, Architecting airborne mission system configurations to meet customer needs, Aircraft integration expertise in coordinating integration and test plans of multiple mission and non-mission systems on airborne platforms, including Boeing, Rotary Wing, Gulfstream, King Air & similar platforms, Aircraft logistical sustainment and in-the-field aircraft modification, Subcontract technical requirements management, Subcontract technical oversight
