Controls Engineer, Dynamics
Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is a joint venture focused on automotive technology solutions. As a Dynamics Controls Engineer, you will develop embedded software for vehicle dynamics, collaborating with systems and test engineers throughout the feature development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Design and test software for vehicle dynamics controls
Work with systems engineers to define requirements
Work with integration engineers to thoroughly test code before deployment
Contribute to automated test framework for Unit, SIL, HIL, and Cloud
Develop simulation models uses for software in the loop testing of propulsion controls
Field test prototype software in development, with 2-5 weeks of travel per year
Qualification
Required
Minimum Bachelor of Science degree (Masters Preferred) in mechanical engineering, software engineering, or related fields
Hands on-engineering experience
Proficient in software development processes and relevant tools
Proficiency with C/C++ and Python
Familiar with vehicle physics
