Line Operator - Surface Mount Technology | Controls Electronics

The SMT Line Operator will be responsible for the setup, programming, and operation of the electronic assembly line, ensuring high-quality PCB assembly and supporting rapid design iterations for the engineering team.

Responsibilities
Program, load and operate the SMT line equipment
Scheduling of jobs
Coordinate component purchasing and inventory management
Routine maintenance of the various machines
Recording of assembly data and metrics
Supervision of commissioning of new equipment
Qualification
Required
Electronics technician training, any level
Relevant experience in electronic assembly and SMT line operation
Good understanding of the electronic assembly processes and standards
Good understanding of electrostatic discharge (ESD) control
High energy, self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
Good team, communication and leadership skills
Preferred
IPC-J-STD-001 qualification
IPC-A-610 qualification
