Responsibilities

Serve as a proactive, trusted resource for MSTC students—offering personalized support, timely communication, and solutions that ensure student satisfaction and success
Provide academic advising and guidance, track degree progress, and identify at-risk students for early intervention
Gather and analyze student feedback through surveys and informal check-ins; identify opportunities to improve the student experience
Partner with faculty, Career Management, and program leadership to design and deliver co-curricular initiatives that enrich academic and professional growth
Foster a strong community through social, networking, and alumni engagement events
Manage course delivery across in-person and online formats; maintain Canvas course sites, content updates, announcements, and classroom readiness
Support faculty by coordinating teaching materials, course schedules, and alignment of syllabi and assignments
Collaborate with the Marketing and Admissions teams to support outreach and brand-building, recruiting, and program communications to increase market awareness
Ensure all academic operations run smoothly, with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, and consistency
Lead on-site logistics during MSTC class weekends, ensuring a professional, welcoming environment for students, faculty, and guests
Plan and execute major program events such as Orientation, Launch Week, Graduation, Global Seminar Trips, Speaker Series, and networking events
Anticipate student and faculty needs, solve problems quickly, and provide responsive, client-level service throughout all program touchpoints
Assist with admissions, enrollment, and scheduling processes
Manage event and programming budgets, track expenses, and contribute to financial planning
Track, analyze, and report student data to inform decision-making and fulfill reporting requirements for stakeholders such as the Dean’s Office, Graduate School, University Assessment, and external partners
Evaluate program operations and recommend improvements that enhance student satisfaction and program impact

Required

Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in program coordination, client relations, student affairs, or a related field
Proven ability to deliver outstanding client or student service in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems creatively, while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with learning management systems such as Canvas
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate

Preferred

Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., higher education administration, social work, business administration)
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas and contribute to a dynamic team environment
Experience with software platforms for registration, surveys and communication (e.g., Constant Contact, Qualtrics, Salesforce, MailChimp, etc.)
Experience with University of Texas policies, procedures, and administrative systems related to job functions

Benefits

Retirement Plan Eligibility: The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
