Responsibilities
Conduct and oversee tax research to support client positions, address technical issues, and identify proactive planning opportunities
Partner directly with clients and internal engagement teams to advise on a wide range of tax compliance and consulting matters
Manage and review tax compliance and planning processes, ensuring accuracy, effective implementation of tax strategies, and strong client relationships
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, developing trusted advisor relationships with business owners and leadership teams
Lead, train, and mentor interns and staff, fostering professional development within a collaborative, high-performing team environment
Coordinate multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and meeting critical deadlines
Contribute to firm initiatives, including client development efforts, process improvements, and delivering an exceptional client experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or a public/corporate mix
Active CPA license
Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex tax concepts
Proven leadership and project management experience, including overseeing engagement teams and managing multiple priorities
Demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service and long-term relationship building
Preferred
Master's in Taxation
Big Four or large regional CPA firm experience
Experience serving pass-through entities and closely held businesses
