Responsibilities

Work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle
Guide teammates and lead the development of algorithms and systems
Use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to advise your clients as they make informed decisions
Provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used

Required

10+ years of experience conducting modeling and simulation or decision analysis
10+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
5+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
5+ years of experience programming with data analysis software such as Python, R, MATLAB, @RISK, ARENA, or SAS
Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs
Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree

Preferred

Experience with FOSS and COTS products in statistics, Monte Carlo or discrete event simulation, ETL processes, and quantitative workflow automation
Experience working in Windows and Linux OS environments
Ability to work with non-technical audiences on technical problems in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment, and balance long and short-term taskings
Ability to take poorly defined problems and convert them into questions for which practical quantitative solutions can be defined
Ability to exhibit flexibility, initiative, and innovation to succeed in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment and compose client deliverable quality documentation, analysis, and reports
Possession of excellent detail-oriented and organizational skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field preferred; Master's degree a plus
