Responsibilities

Provide specialized neuropsychological assessment and consultation for adult and geriatric patients undergoing neurosurgical evaluation and treatment
Collaborate with other neuropsychologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, and social workers to inform surgical planning and post-operative care
Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for patients with brain tumors, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, movement disorders, and other neurosurgical conditions
Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and contribute to clinical decision-making
Document findings and recommendations in electronic medical records with clarity and timeliness
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research as appropriate
Mentor and teach medical students, neurosurgery residents and fellows, as well as Psychology Interns and Neuropsychology Fellows

Required

Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology
Completion of an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology internship and completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology
Licensed or license-eligible as a clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania
A track record of academic productivity and clinical excellence

Preferred

Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP-CN preferred)
