Responsibilities
Assist with reviewing pricing, bids and confirms accuracy of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and validity
Assist with preparing bids for distribution to market. Includes drawings, specifications, test reports, and other exhibits that may be required
Assist with qualifying subcontractors prior to award
Assist with reviews bids from subcontractors for conformity to contract requirements and recommends acceptable bids
Assist with negotiating contract scope and value with bidder
Assist with recommended awards and administer subcontracts
Assist with processes subcontractor change orders
Assist with requests or approved amendments to or extensions of contracts
Assist with the advised scheduling of contractual rights and obligations
Assist with compiling data for preparing estimates
Assist with reviewing all correspondence concerning subcontractors and respond as necessary
Assist with establishing and maintaining contact with subcontractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract awarding process
Assist with communication to accounting on subcontractor payments
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field
Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
Strong organization, time-management, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
1-2 years of project management experience with commercial construction projects preferred
