Responsibilities
Install and configure new software releases, perform system upgrades, evaluate and apply patches, and resolve software-related issues
Perform regular system backups and recovery to ensure data protection
Maintain data files and monitor system configurations to ensure integrity and performance
Manage the functionality and efficiency of one or more operating systems
Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation, tune system performance, install system-wide software, validate and implement critical system patches, and allocate mass storage
Assist with scheduling, planning, and overseeing system upgrades
Develop functional requirements through collaboration with end users and coordinate with development teams to implement system enhancements or changes
Monitor and control computer operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability
Assist in identifying methods and techniques for improving system operations and troubleshooting procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
U.S. Citizenship required
Active DoD Secret Clearance (minimum)
CompTIA Security+ certification (minimum)
