Vice President of Sales, Team Leader

The Vice President of Sales, Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of sales representatives, executing sales strategies, and ensuring pipeline health and revenue outcomes within the FinTech space.
Responsibilities
Drive Quarterly Quota Attainment for the sales team
Lead the Recruiting, Interviewing, and Onboarding process for new sales talent
Conduct continuous Performance Management, including regular check-ins and formal reviews
Foster a high-performance, motivated, and inclusive team Culture
Ensure accurate and compliant Compensation Adherence
Deliver Accurate Monthly Forecasts to senior leadership, maintaining pipeline integrity
Develop and inspect complex Deal Strategies to maximize close rates and profitability
Ensure strict CRM Compliance for data accuracy and reporting across the team
Collaborate closely with the Sales Operations Manager to optimize sales processes and technology
Proactively Identify and Remove Roadblocks to ensure progression and team efficiency
Provide daily Individual Coaching focused on improving sales skills, deal strategy, and Pipeline Health
Conduct Skill Reinforcement and sales methodology training
Partner with the Sales Enablement Manager for Enablement Adoption and effective utilization of sales tools and content
Support team members with career progression and professional development paths
Lead GTM Strategy Execution at the regional/segment level, ensuring alignment with company objectives
Facilitate effective Cross-functional Collaboration with Marketing, Product, Legal, and Finance teams
Provide Qualitative Feedback from the field to inform product development and marketing campaigns
Act as the Voice of the Customer by collecting feedback, analyzing Win/Loss Reasons, and gathering Competitive Intelligence
Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement across the entire sales organization
Manage team Budget and Expense Mgt, ensuring cost-effective operation
Lead or support High-Value Negotiations and contract finalization
Oversee Customer Escalation & Resolution, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes for strategic accounts
Qualification
Required
Relevant educational background (Bachelor's degree preferred)
5+ Years of direct sales experience in the Financial Services or Financial Technology (FinTech) sector, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
2+ Years of sales team leadership or management experience
Strong, inspirational Leadership Abilities and a passion for developing talent
Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills, capable of articulating complex financial solutions
Proven Sales Experience, specifically in B2B enterprise software or solution selling
Demonstrated ability to manage a complex sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue
Preferred
Deep understanding and Experience in financial technology, particularly in payments, money movement, or core banking
Familiarity with digital transformation processes and the competitive landscape of the FinTech industry
Proficiency in modern CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
