Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from intake through resolution, including negotiation, settlement, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other court filings
Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, gather information, and ensure excellent client service
Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
Participate in mediations, depositions, and court hearings
Collaborate with investigators, medical professionals, and experts to build strong cases
Maintain detailed case documentation and adhere to all deadlines and ethical requirements
Qualification
Required
Active North Carolina Bar license in good standing (required)
1–3 years of experience practicing law, preferably in personal injury, civil litigation, or insurance defense
