Responsibilities
Design and document electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage for aviation, education, civic, tribal, commercial, and federal facilities
Produce one-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting layouts, specifications, and reports
Perform electrical calculations including load analysis, short circuit studies, arc flash, and voltage drop
Apply electrical codes, NEC, NFPA, and industry standards to ensure compliant, functional solutions
Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and team coordination efforts
Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal teams to deliver integrated outcomes
Support QA/QC efforts and construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits
Lead project scopes, oversee deliverables, and mentor junior staff (mid- and senior-level roles)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
FE exam passed and actively pursuing PE licensure (for Mid-Level)
5+ years of progressive experience (for Mid-Level)
Demonstrated ability to lead design efforts and coordinate small to mid-scale projects (for Mid-Level)
Active PE license (for Senior Engineer)
10+ years of progressive experience leading electrical design (for Senior Engineer)
Proficiency in Revit
Strong understanding of building systems, documentation standards, and interdisciplinary coordination
Experience in sectors such as aviation, civic, commercial, tribal, mission critical, or federal work is highly valued
Preferred
Knowledge of other electrical analysis software is a plus
