Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution: Proven ability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans. Experience in business case development, goal-setting, and translating high-level strategy into tangible actions
Operational Excellence: Deep understanding of operational models, process optimization, and resource allocation. Experience in a fast-paced, complex environment, with a focus on data-driven decision making
Data Science and Analytics Acumen: Familiarity with the data science lifecycle, modeling concepts, and modern analytics platforms. While not a hands-on technical role, you must be able to engage with data scientists and engineers and understand their work and challenges
Project and Program Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously. Experience with Agile or similar project management methodologies is a plus
Change Management: Lead change initiatives related to workforce planning, ensuring successful adoption of new strategies and processes across diverse international teams
Communication and Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations to senior leadership and influence without direct authority
Financial and Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets, forecasting resource needs, and demonstrating the return on investment for strategic initiatives
Leadership and Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and a strong sense of ownership and accountability. You should be a proactive problem-solver with a strong leadership presence. May manage and develop multiple analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One
Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills

Required

Bachelor's degree or military experience
At least 7 years of experience in analysis
