They are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer / Technical Solutions Engineer to partner with Account Executives, conduct technical discovery, and manage integrations for enterprise customers, while also leading technical proof-of-concepts and acting as the customer's technical advocate.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with Account Executives to conduct technical discovery and customize integrations for enterprise customers (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Perforce, on-prem)

Lead technical proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilots that demonstrate value in complex customer environments

Manage security and compliance diligence — assist in architecture documentation and unblock enterprise procurement

Build reference implementations, demo environments, and lightweight integrations to accelerate adoption

Act as the customer’s technical advocate internally, surfacing requirements and feedback to engineering and product teams

Work hands-on with modern infrastructure and developer tooling, helping global engineering teams ship software faster and more reliably

Required

0–5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Forward Deployed Engineer at a developer tools or infrastructure company

Strong proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript and familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise identity (SSO/SCIM, SAML, OIDC)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a top-tier university

Experience working directly with technical customers and running proof-of-concepts or pilots

Hands-on mindset — you enjoy solving technical challenges and working closely with customers, not managing teams

Excited to work in-person with a fast-moving, senior team in San Francisco

Preferred

Experience at high-growth developer tools or infrastructure startups (e.g., Brex, Ramp, Stripe, Linear, GitHub, GitLab, Notion, Figma, Stytch, Uber, Meta, Airbnb)

Previous exposure to AI or LLM-based developer tools

Experience working in customer-facing technical roles at companies with 100–1,000 employees

Former technical founders or individuals with strong research backgrounds (e.g., graduate-level AI/LLM work) are strong fits
