Responsibilities
Assist with coordinating special events and fundraisers, including planning, logistics, and outreach to current and prospect donors to secure funds to support the agency
Maintain the donor files through a database, generate reports, create and process donation acknowledgements and thank you letters, and is involved in media engagement
Help share Lifesteps mission by representing the agency at events and engage staff and donors
Assist with volunteer engagement, expo / fair coordination, and agency photography and history, as needed
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma / GED with 2 years of sales, non-profit development, communications, fundraising, or public relations experience
Excellent verbal communication and written communication, including editing and proofreading
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Current and valid Drivers License and automobile insurance
Ability to travel using own vehicle - mileage reimbursement possible
Preferred
Associate Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a similar field
Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a similar field
