Jefferson Health is a nationally ranked health care system seeking a part-time pathologist for the position of Section Director of the Transfusion Service. The role requires leadership in overseeing the Transfusion Service, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing a team of laboratory staff.

Responsibilities

The candidate must be a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology (AP/CP or CP only), and BE/BC in Transfusion Medicine

The candidate is expected to have a solid understanding of all regulatory requirements

She/he is expected to have excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills

The calls will be shared with the Jefferson Enterprise Transfusion Pathologists

The successful candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH)
