OSP Assistant Engineer

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country’s largest wireless telecommunications providers. The OSP Assistant Engineer is responsible for completing OSP Engineering field surveys for telecommunications customers, ensuring quality requirements are met in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Manage the OSP engineering process from project award through permit closeout and As-Built/Make Ready submittal
Accountable for total project scope and quality control
Permitting with state DOTs, cities, counties, railroads, environmental, and other permitting authorities
Make Ready/ As-Built process for aerial construction projects
Take detailed field notes for the design
Document changes of customer specifications
Track & report on job progress
Coordinate activities with pole owners / utilities regarding make–ready submittals, design and construction requirements and activities

Required

Communication and customer service skills
Intermediate computer skills
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Detail oriented and demonstrates good organizational skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and use good judgment in day-to-day activities
