Responsibilities

Develop and edit CMM programs using PC-DMIS and MCOSMOS for machined components
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and technical documentation to define inspection strategies
Identify and utilize appropriate fixturing, tooling, and setups to ensure repeatable and accurate measurements
Review and verify inspection and testing of products for compliance with drawings and specifications
Create and maintain quality assurance documentation including control plans, inspection plans, FAI, and PPAP per customer requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel

Required

Minimum 3+ years of experience in CMM programming
Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection methodologies
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
Proven experience in quality inspection and assurance in a manufacturing environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC)
Previous experience with Supplier Quality in aerospace machining suppliers
Strong program and project management skills
