KYOCERA SENCO Industrial Tools is seeking a Return to Base Technician I (Tool Repair Technician) to support the company through various duties including tool repairs and inventory management. The role involves disassembling, repairing, and testing tools, while maintaining a safe working environment and communicating quality issues.

Maintain a safe working environment

Under the supervisor’s direction, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test tools

Prepare and complete source documents for labor and inventory transactions

Follow step-by-step instructions to complete department tasks promptly

Communicate trends or repeated quality issues

Complete any other job responsibilities

Have flexibility to work in all Tool Department areas

Required

Able to effectively communicate with co-workers, industrial account managers, product managers, engineers, and quality technicians

Use of lift and hand trucks; training provided if needed

Must be able to work well in a team environment

Must be able to read and write

Must have a High School diploma or the equivalent

Basic computer knowledge is required- efficient in Microsoft Office

Must be able to stand for 100%, lift, and bend for 40% of your entire shift

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.; lift is provided

Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and presses daily

Must be able to use both hands to diagnose and repair products

Must have 1-2 years of mechanical experience

Must be able to use precision measuring instruments

Must be able to meet the daily production quota

Must be able to stay on task with minimum supervision

Depending on company needs, you must be able to work overtime and weekends when asked

Requires a high degree of mental concentration

Requires a high level of attention to detail

Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
