The Postdoctoral Fellow will engage in innovative translational research, focusing on cancer diagnostics and predictive biomarkers while collaborating with expert faculty and utilizing cutting-edge methodologies.

Responsibilities
Design and conduct research directed towards answering a specific scientific question under appropriate supervision
Cooperate with and assist other research personnel in maintenance of research equipment and work areas
Record, compile and analyze research data. Generate presentation-ready processed data (e.g., graphs and tables) under appropriate supervision
Under appropriate direction and supervision, learn research techniques that directly relate to the program’s scientific projects and goals
Maintains QA Program
Qualification
Required
Ph.D., in a scientific field of study that is of relevance to cancer research. In Lieu of PhD, MD/DO (or equivalent)
Formal training in surgical pathology
Interest in having training in novel cytology and pathology-related research methodologies
Collaborative spirit and interest in learning the role of translational pathology approaches in the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in cancer
Analytical mind and basic knowledge of computer software to maintain and analyze data, as well as summarize data and prepare presentations
Experience in initiating, conducting, evaluating and reporting research studies
Demonstrated pre-doctoral working knowledge of research methodologies in an area of research
