Professional Civil Engineer - Land Development
Alliant Engineering, Inc. is a growing engineering and consulting firm focused on building better communities. They are seeking a Professional Civil Engineer for their Land Development team in Minneapolis, where the role involves managing projects, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities
Coordinate, communicate and collaborate with fellow engineering staff, both departmentally and across disciplines, local municipalities, contractors, and land development clients
Manage projects for consistency with established processes, schedules, budgets, design standards, and specifications to ensure a quality project is delivered on-time and on-budget
Passion to develop and manage client relationships in the Residential and Commercial markets
Desire to work and team with senior management to develop strategies to increase market share in the MN market
Aptitude to lead, mentor and advance junior staff
Eagerness to grow and maintain strong client and staff relationships
Qualification
Required
4+ years of relevant Land Development design or construction management
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field
Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Minnesota
Must possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects and work collaboratively with peers
Strong working technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Preferred
Strong project management skills
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
Proficiency with ICPR and stormwater modeling
