City Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Antibody Biologist to join their Extrahepatic Delivery Team. The successful candidate will engineer and optimize antibody formats, collaborate with the chemistry team, and manage external collaborations to advance antibody engineering and production capabilities.

Responsibilities

Engineer and optimize antibody formats (e.g., VHH, Fab, Fc) to support extrahepatic delivery programs
Design and perform studies related to antibody characterization and functional evaluation
Partner with chemistry colleagues to develop and characterize antibody–oligonucleotide conjugates
Manage external CRO collaborations to ensure high-quality materials and timely deliverables
Analyze and interpret complex data sets to guide project strategy
Responsible for following the field, surveying the landscape and helping with shaping the strategy
Communicate findings effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Required

Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience
Strong expertise in antibody engineering (VHH, Fab, or Fc domain engineering required)
Demonstrated ability to independently design and execute experimental studies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Please note this role is required to be on-site at our offices in Cambridge, MA (5 days a week)

Experience with antibody–oligonucleotide conjugates highly preferred
