Responsibilities
Assemble and configure the mechanical components of CNC tube bending machines according to specifications, including basic to intermediate wiring of electrical components
Install CNC tube bending machines at customer sites, ensuring all components are properly set up and operational
Accurately document the installation process, including configurations, adjustments, and any issues encountered
Mount and secure tooling to the machine, ensuring proper alignment, set-up, and functionality
Identify and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during installation, providing effective solutions
Communicate effectively with customers during the installation process, providing clear instructions and addressing any questions or concerns
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with mechanical systems
Strong electrical aptitude and hands-on experience with electrical systems
Basic to Intermediate understanding of CNC machinery
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
A clear driving record containing no more than two (2) minor moving violations in three (3) years and no major violations in the last seven (7) years
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations, up to 75%
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Able to effectively use the internet
Highly organized
Must have excellent time management skills
Able to effectively work with all levels of team members and all types of customer personalities
Preferred
Technical certification or relevant coursework in machine repair or a related field is a plus
Basic understanding of Siemens PLC systems is a plus
Experience in Tube Bending, Wire Bending and/or End Forming processes is a plus
Experience with 2D/3D design software is a plus, ex. SolidWorks, AutoCAD
Fluent in Italian preferred but not required
