Middle Office Project Manager – Credit Accounting

Responsibilities
Manage complex project management from specifications through implementations
Provide analysis and oversee the execution of key quality improvement projects and initiatives
Identify risks, plan for unanticipated outcomes, and form appropriate contingency plans
Ensure robust program/project controls framework is used to deliver programs/projects on time, within budget, and follow governance protocol
Communicate reports regarding project status, risk management, and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team
Track and maintain project plans, risk matrices, issues list, and all related project artifacts to ensure
Qualification
Required
An advanced degree from a top university strongly desired
10+ years of industry full-cycle experience in SDLC methodologies and approaches, including refining business requirements and defining functional specifications
Experience leading complex projects including multiple parties both internal and external
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with business users as well as other members of the technical staff
Experience with a leading partnership accounting platform is required
Knowledge of fund life cycle events, not limited to partnership allocations, Fund NAV, and Waterfall calculations
Adept at listening and soliciting feedback from middle office users and stakeholders
Must be a self-directed and solid team player with a strong work ethic
Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment
Preferred
Investran or a similar system is strongly preferred
