Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, and directs IT functions to meet budgetary, quality, and production goals aligned with corporate objectives
Develops and executes IT strategies, including priorities, standards, protocols, and change management
Supervises and develops staff through hiring, training, performance management, and career development
Directs project and program delivery, including planning, tracking, and reviewing project status
Provides technical leadership and enforces IT policies, procedures, and quality standards
Establishes documentation standards for system modifications, upgrades, and project deliverables
Determines resource needs and manages IT capital acquisition and budgeting
Collaborates with executive leadership to forecast needs, develop budgets, and negotiate with vendors
Leads research and development of new technologies and evaluates their application to business operations
Maintains awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, introducing innovations as appropriate
Ensures compliance with relevant frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, cybersecurity, disaster recovery)
Oversees the design, development, implementation, and support of business applications and ERP systems
Guides internal stakeholders in identifying system requirements and recommends technical solutions
Leads application lifecycle management and ensures alignment with business processes and goals
Directs telephone system planning and enterprise-wide upgrades
Leads systems engineering, infrastructure, and technology operations, including networking, storage, and cloud services
Directs implementation of cybersecurity and information security programs, ensuring compliance with NIST 800
Oversees disaster recovery planning and infrastructure resilience
Evaluates and introduces new IT operations, tools, and platforms to enhance performance and scalability
Directs the enterprise project portfolio and ensures alignment with strategic IT and business goals
Establishes and maintains project management methodologies, standards, and governance
Prioritizes internal IT demand and manages cross-functional project teams
Provides oversight for project delivery staff and ensures consistent execution across initiatives

Required

Seven or more years of IT management experience in Application Development, Systems Engineering, Business Application Analysis, or Technology Services
Five or more years in supervisory roles with skills to hire qualified employees, provide for their professional development, administer performance management and disciplinary processes effectively, and address employee relations appropriately
Ability to effectively supervise and develop assigned team to meet strategic goals
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to make presentations and respond to inquiries by senior management, customers, employees and/or public
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills
Human relations skills to build effective relationships with team, customers and public
Exceptional customer service skills
Demonstrated expertise in enterprise productivity tools, including advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet modeling, database management, presentation design, and virtual collaboration platforms, with the ability to leverage these tools for strategic planning, reporting, and executive communication
Strong command of business English including vocabulary, spelling, and correct grammatical usage and punctuation
Mathematical skills to include the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to establish priorities and solve a wide range of business, operational and strategic management problems
Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time
