Responsibilities

Lead with Vision: Set technical direction for complex municipal projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance

Design with Purpose: Develop evaluations and designs for water and wastewater pumping and treatment facilities, including:

Pump and hydraulic calculations

Process piping layouts

Tank and equipment sizing and selection

Innovate: Conceptualize improvements and alternative designs that elevate performance and resilience

Collaborate: Work closely with BIM specialists to refine layouts and produce detailed drawings

Deliver Excellence: Prepare technical specifications and front-end contract documents for publicly bid projects

Analyze & Optimize: Conduct water quality analyses and system modeling

Ensure Compliance: Review designs and reports to meet client expectations and regulatory standards

Mentor & Grow: Provide guidance and training to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration

Advance Knowledge: Author technical papers, contribute to industry publications, and present at conferences

Engage Clients: Support proposals, attend client meetings, and help shape solutions that meet evolving needs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline

Professional engineering (PE) license

Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

An appropriate and valid driver's license is required
