Mid Level4P Consulting Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer 3 to play a critical role in validating the integrity, reliability, and performance of their enterprise decision-making data platform. The role involves ensuring high-quality data analytics delivery through testing and continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test strategies, plans, and scripts based on requirements and design specifications
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for data and application workflows
Create and maintain testing artifacts including test cases, automation scripts, and test execution results
Validate data pipelines, processing logic, ETL/ELT workflows, and data quality rules
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure adherence to data quality standards
Identify, log, and track defects using Jira and Zephyr Scale, ensuring timely resolution
Support continuous QA improvement, including automation expansion and CI/CD quality gates
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to overall delivery planning
Advocate and implement data quality best practices and governance standards
Support DataBricks and Azure-based testing and quality monitoring workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or related field
Proven QA experience across integrated software and data platforms
Experience validating front-end applications and user workflows
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Tricentis Tosca (preferred), manual testing tools, automated testing frameworks
Microsoft Azure (Data Engineering ecosystem)
Python, SQL
Azure DataBricks
Jira, Zephyr Scale
Familiarity with Agile development and Scrum methodologies
