Vice President of Sales
Hartzell Propeller, a leader in advanced aircraft propeller design and manufacturing, is seeking a Vice President of Sales to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that drive demand and revenue. This role involves overseeing forecasting, pricing strategy, and major contract negotiations while serving as the executive advocate for customer needs across the organization.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and programs that create demand, generate revenue, and help the organization meet profitability goals
Drive revenue growth and sales performance by developing and executing strategies to achieve revenue targets, driving new customer acquisition, upselling and cross-selling opportunities, implementing and tracking KPIs for sales productivity, and delivering accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to the executive team
Create and oversee the integrated marketing strategy, strengthen brand positioning in the market through consistent messaging and campaigns, ensure marketing efforts directly support pipeline growth and sales, and track ROI of marketing initiatives and campaigns
Develop a cohesive and talented staff, nurture a winning culture, maintain positive morale, play a significant role in the hiring, onboarding and development of talent for the manufacturing team, and provide development opportunities for contributors with potential to grow
Gather and use customer feedback to refine offerings and strategies, monitor competitive feedback to refine offerings and strategies, and represent the 'voice of the customer' within the leadership team
Design go to market plans for new products, services or markets, identify and develop strategic partnerships, channels and alliances, and oversee pricing, packaging and positioning strategies
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in a technical or engineered products environment
Demonstrated success in managing international sales networks, building strategic partnerships, and achieving growth targets
Financial and Business Acumen
Revenue forecasting: advanced skill in creating accurate sales and marketing forecasts
P&L Management: Experience in budget planning, cost control and ROI analysis
Pricing and Packaging: Understanding of pricing models, margin optimization and discount structures
Proven ability to analyze and interpret sales data
Strong mechanical/technical aptitude with ability to understand highly engineered products
Expertise in negotiating high-value, multi-party agreements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and ERP/MRP systems
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

Bachelor's degree required (technical or business field preferred); MBA a plus
