Migration Specialist

They are seeking a Migration Specialist to ensure customers experience a seamless transition from one platform to another by managing the migration process end-to-end and maintaining exceptional communication with customers throughout.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the migration process, providing clear updates and guidance
Prepare and plan each migration, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal standards
Execute and validate data transfers, troubleshooting issues and ensuring complete, accurate setup on the new platform
Identify potential risks early and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them proactively
Maintain detailed documentation of all migration steps, communications, and outcomes
Participate in internal meetings to provide feedback on migration progress, workload, and process improvements
Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners to ensure a seamless transition for each client
Keep internal tracking tools and project boards current and organized
Guide customers through the migration process, outlining required actions and timelines
Deliver software training and answer customer questions related to data migration and new system usage
Build and maintain strong relationships with chapter administrators, undergraduate leaders, advisors, and headquarters staff
Escalate customer feedback, product issues, or enhancement requests to the appropriate teams
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service, customer support, or client management
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Office 365 applications
Preferred
Background in technical support or a related field
Experience with data migration, system implementation, or similar technical processes
Familiarity with Zendesk or Monday.com
