They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in data center design to lead and coordinate electrical design for data center projects, ensuring compliance with performance goals and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate electrical design for data center projects from concept through construction

Develop and review power system layouts, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and equipment specifications

Ensure electrical designs meet project performance goals, code requirements, and industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E)

Collaborate closely with internal project managers, mechanical engineers, architects, and external consultants to ensure integrated design solutions

Evaluate utility service requirements and coordinate with local utility providers for medium- and high-voltage service connections

Review and approve submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings during construction

Support commissioning activities and validate system performance, redundancy, and reliability

Participate in value engineering, risk assessments, and constructability reviews

Stay current on emerging technologies, sustainable energy solutions, and innovations in power distribution and resiliency

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; PE license preferred

5- 10 years of professional experience in electrical design, with a focus on data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale commercial infrastructure

Deep understanding of power distribution systems, UPS, generators, grounding, lighting, and fire alarm systems

Familiarity with power modeling and load analysis software (e.g., SKM, ETAP, Revit MEP)

Strong technical writing, organization, and communication skills

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
