Founding Technical Recruiter - US/Canada Market
HireTo by Kuvaka is a growing startup focused on establishing a robust technical recruitment strategy for the US and Canada market. The Founding Technical Recruiter will be responsible for developing innovative recruitment strategies, conducting end-to-end recruitment processes, and fostering relationships with universities and technical communities to attract top talent.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies tailored for the US and Canada markets
Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and selection
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create compelling job descriptions
Utilize various recruitment marketing techniques to attract high-quality candidates
Source and engage potential candidates through various platforms, networking events, and industry partnerships
Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure alignment with technical requirements and company culture
Maintain and update recruitment metrics to track progress and improve hiring processes
Foster relationships with universities and technical communities to build talent pipelines
Act as a brand ambassador for the company, effectively communicating our mission and values to prospective candidates
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
A minimum of 3-4 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on technical and IT roles
Proven track record of successful recruitment in a startup environment
Knowledge of labor laws and compliance issues specific to the US and Canada
Strong expertise in end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience
Demonstrated technical recruitment experience, particularly in sourcing and hiring engineers and IT professionals
Familiarity with the US recruitment landscape, including regional differences and market trends
Experience in startup hiring and understanding the unique challenges and dynamics of early-stage companies
Background in recruitment marketing and job posting strategies to enhance visibility and attractiveness to candidates
Effective talent sourcing skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and engaging potential candidates
Strong candidate screening and evaluation abilities, ensuring the right fit for technical roles and cultural alignment
Preferred
Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
Familiarity with technical roles in software development, engineering, and IT
Strong understanding of various coding languages, technical frameworks, and industry trends
Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform recruitment strategies and decisions
