Responsibilities

License Enforcement Oversight: Leads investigations into complex compliance issues, conducts internal audits, and ensures adherence to licensing and IP regulations. Tracks licensee obligations, enforces MTAs, and escalates critical matters to leadership
Customer & Agreement Management: Responds to inquiries related to IP, licensing, and MTAs using databases and search tools. Drafts and negotiates licenses and other agreements, facilitates execution processes, and validates documentation for accuracy and completeness
Licensing & Data Analysis: Initiates licensing negotiations, qualifies potential licensees, and ensures alignment with organizational strategy. Generates reports from multiple databases to support decision-making and monitors financial and reporting obligations tied to executed agreements

Required

Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years' experience or equivalent experience
Experience in life sciences with a strong focus on licensing or intellectual property (IP) related practices
Demonstrated strong knowledge of intellectual property law and various licensing frameworks essential for compliance and enforcement
Skilled in drafting and negotiating license agreements
Familiarity with MTAs and enforcement procedures
Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and issue escalation
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Experience collaborating with legal, finance, and licensing teams
Ability to contribute to enforcement initiatives
