Responsibilities
Provide onsite support to DARPA's Strategic Technology Office (STO)
Aid in the management and development of programs in high-risk, high-reward research and development (R&D) projects
Perform scientific and technical analysis
Develop broadly understandable explanatory documentation for deeply technical programs
Monitor ongoing research and development programs
Report to office leadership
Identify national security challenges and participate in the development of portfolio-level strategies to address them
Qualification
Required
Provide onsite support to DARPA's Strategic Technology Office (STO)
Aid in the management and development of programs in high-risk, high-reward research and development (R&D) projects
Proactive communication, both written and oral, with key stakeholders including performers, supporting organizations, military transition partners, and international collaborators
Function as part of a strongly collaborative scientific and technical team
Act independently to complete time-critical tasks
Comfortable in working at security levels across the spectrum from unclassified open discussion potentially with foreign nationals to collateral classified programs with validated higher levels of need-to-know
Conduct scientific and technical analysis
Develop broadly understandable explanatory documentation for deeply technical programs
Monitor ongoing research and development programs
Report to office leadership
Identify national security challenges and participate in the development of portfolio-level strategies to address them
