Responsibilities
Provide transactional counsel to public agencies
Draft ordinances, resolutions, and policy documents
Advise on open meeting laws, election laws, and conflicts of interest
Support clients on land use, planning, and public safety matters
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys across multidisciplinary municipal issues
Qualification
Required
Active California Bar membership
Preferred
3+ years of municipal law experience preferred
Experience drafting ordinances and resolutions
Experience with open meeting laws, land use and planning, conflicts of interest, and free speech issues
Familiarity with public safety, elections, and other public agency matters
