Treasury Management Officer

The role involves managing the sale, support, and implementation of treasury management products while acting as a liaison to the Bank’s Retail and Commercial divisions, ensuring customer satisfaction and business development.

Responsibilities

Own sales/business development responsibilities in order to grow operational relationships, Non-Interest Income (NII) and low-cost deposits on behalf of the bank
Foster ongoing relationships with all line units by conducting business development activities, providing product/solution information, attending sales meetings, conducting training, and driving client retention efforts
Prepare treasury management proposals, recommend treasury management pricing, and other treasury management requests from internal clients. Complete treasury management implementation documentation and coordinate implementation/training with Business Services
Serve as the Treasury Management technical expert and resolve more complex situations, exercising, independent judgement while complying with policies, procedures and regulations
Provide information to colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders and external customers
Collaborate with branch and market managers and commercial bankers in a consultative selling capacity
Responsible for meeting annual sales goals and sales activity targets by developing and executing strategies to sell Treasury Management products to new customers and to help retain and fully penetrate existing relationships
Collaborate and consult with Treasury Management Team, internal partners, stakeholders, and external customers within Treasury Management, as appropriate

Required

3 - 5 years related experience and/or training
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and/or training
Strong knowledge and understanding of treasury management product and services
Knowledge of sales techniques and principles to effectively market treasury management services
Knowledge of the principles and practices associated with the analysis of business operations and depository activities
Advanced professional image, presenting a professional image of the Bank at meetings, events, mixers, etc
Ability to plan and schedule time efficiently, with the ability to handle interruptions effectively
Ability to work independently under limited or no supervision
Advanced customer service skills, including the ability to resolve customer conflict, etc
Advanced communication and negotiation skills, conducting productive meetings, and making powerful presentations
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft or related office software products including Word, Excel and Outlook
