Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aspectic injection technique, etc
Produces high quality diagnostic images
Orders supplies and cleans the workspace
Effectively communicates with customers, doctors, and/or other staff members
Trains new MRI Techs and/or support staff
Qualification
Required
Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aspectic injection technique, etc
Produces high quality diagnostic images

Ability to be exposed to minimal radiation
Ability to stand/walk for up to eight or more hours/day
Ability to bend, stoop, twist
Assist patients in turning
Assist patient in arising from exam table
Push wheelchair patients
Assist patient in rising from and returning to wheelchair
Strong interpersonal abilities
Excellent telephone skills and etiquette
Maintains confidentiality
Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique and basic health and safety precautions applicable for work in a clinic setting
Use and apply medical terminology appropriately
Service orientation
Ability to relate sensitively to patients' needs
Well-organized
Preferred
Graduation from a Certified Radiologic Technology program
Current certification ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
Current BLS certification
