Maxar Technologies is seeking solutions-oriented System Administrator to work in an agile operational environment supporting a user base with a mission to solve unique and challenging problems in support of national security. The ideal candidate will be part of a small multi-disciplinary software and analytics team with the unique opportunity to interact directly with users and other technologists to ensure solutions, development and tools meet the needs of the customer.

Responsibilities

Monitors secure side systems operations to develop appropriate solutions, and to implement them

Improving system operations and functionality, monitoring, and optimization of the platform

Tracks and remediates IAVM vulnerabilities

Implements STIG guidance

Support ATO sustainment efforts such as patching

Work with software and system engineers to apply automated test and documentation processes

Troubleshoot and resolve network, automation pipelines, and infrastructure issues

Integrate static code analysis and other security mechanisms into pipeline

Communicate with multidisciplinary teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively

Required

US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for this position and required for consideration

4+ years of technical experience in maintaining automated system platforms for the intelligence community, geospatial context, and/or big data analytics

CICD development experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Kubernetes, Openshift, and/or Docker

Open source and custom application deployments and maintenance experience

Demonstrated experience with LINUX and database system administration and Python scripting

Capable of working effectively with a geographically distributed ops & development team

Communicates effectively with customers and team in written and oral forums

Willingness to work onsite 80% or as needs dictate

Degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in a technical field

Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship
