They are seeking a Web Engineer to join their Innovation team to help build and support digital experiences across various projects, focusing on creating responsive and performant web applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive, performant, and accessible web applications

Work closely with designers and creative leads to implement UI/UX that aligns with AGBO’s brand and creative goals

Build reusable components and design systems using modern frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.)

Integrate APIs and back-end services, including GraphQL and headless CMS platforms

Optimize for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility

Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and development best practices

Explore and apply emerging web technologies that support storytelling and interactive innovation

Required

2–4 years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack web development

Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience using React, Svelte, or Vue in production environments

Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization, and responsive design principles

Comfortable working with Git and modern deployment workflows

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Preferred

Hands-on experience with GraphQL is a significant plus

Familiarity with back-end or server-side development is a strong bonus

Experience working in entertainment, creative studios, or media environments is a plus

Preference will be given to candidates based in Salt Lake City or New Zealand
