Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, monitor F5 appliances, configurations, identify BIG-IP Traffic Processing Objects, and analyze overall health and effectiveness of multiple Big IP F5 instances

Manage application integration designs around application logic and authentication configuration (session management, application redirects, rewrites, migration scenarios, app routing, CAC/PIV authentication)

Support, troubleshoot and configure SSL intercept/inspection, web certificates, certificate management, PKI Certificate Authority (CA) bundles, private/public keys

Install, configure, and administer Big IP F5 Platform Suite referencing Web Applications with Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Access Policy Manger (APM) services

Install and patch Big IP F5 systems, and document DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) checklists

Design and administrator load balancing strategies/ techniques, in application switching / traffic management, knowledge of persistence and SSL certificates

Create and maintain documentation detailing architecture components, configurations, monitoring & alerting setup, troubleshooting guides, and checklists

Required

3+ years of professional experience with Big IP F5 products performing systems administration, including installations, configurations, monitoring system performance and availability, upgrades, troubleshooting, and certificate management

Active Secret Clearance

IAT-II Certification (required)

At least 1 of the following three certifications: F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS) - Local Traffic Manager LTMT OR F5-CTS- Access Policy Manager (APM) OR F5 BIG-IP Certified Administrator
