Responsibilities

Manage projects and mentor staff engineers in projects for community clients as well as planning efforts and design projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure
Assist with the technical execution of projects amongst a team of dedicated project managers
Identify engineering issues and develop solutions
Conduct and oversee hydraulic modeling and analyses
Assist in the preparation of engineering design and construction plans, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and bid documents
Assist in wetlands permitting, when required
Assist in business development and proposal efforts
Conduct field and office QA/QC responsibilities
Provide responsive client service through strong and prompt communication
Attend and present at client and public meetings
Collaborate across internal disciplines and office locations

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) License
8 to 12 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater projects
Background and professional experience in water and wastewater design, hydraulics, construction management, and wetlands permitting
Highly motivated self-starter with a professional attitude
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise letters, memoranda, technical reports, proposals, and figures
Strong computer skills including a solid foundation in MS Office applications
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D and ArcGIS/Pro experience
Must be able to collect field data and measurements including but not limited to roadway, sidewalk, and utility assets; and perform asset inspections
Must be able to lift/move objects weighing up to 40 pounds
Must be able to perform field work in both hot and cold weather (rain and/or snow)
Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
