Start in 2026 SummerThe New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board (NYCIRB) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Actuarial Intern for a summer internship program. The intern will gain hands-on experience in the actuarial profession, specifically in the workers’ compensation field, and will be responsible for supporting key projects within the Actuarial department.

Assists in the creation of actuarial models
Review information for accuracy and reconcile data
Provide research and assistance for special projects as assigned
Present findings and make recommendations
Perform work assignments in support of departmental goals
Attend and participate in meetings at the invitation of leadership
Compile analytical and statistical reports
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to think creatively, communicate clearly and work collaboratively
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work the full duration of the Internship Program
Currently attending/enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
At least one actuarial exam
