Responsibilities

Direct day-to-day IT operations supporting the customer’s acquisition support mission

Engage in hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and resolving complex IT system and infrastructure issues

Coordinate closely with Information Assurance, Service Desk, and Software Development teams to maintain seamless operations

Oversee the continuous integration and deployment of software updates

Lead and mentor a team of skilled IT Engineers on new and ongoing technical projects

Manage personnel development, conduct performance reviews, and foster professional growth among AMERICAN SYSTEMS employee-owners

Required

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current Polygraph (required for consideration)

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

DoD 8570/8140 IAT II level certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)

10+ years of technical experience supporting IT systems, networks, and software development

5+ years of experience supporting Information Assurance/Cybersecurity

Proven management or leadership experience guiding technical teams

Demonstrated success communicating with senior-level customers

Strong working knowledge of: VMware and virtual computing environments, Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.), Networking, storage systems, and information security principles, Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), such as Citrix
