Responsibilities

Design of experiments for a wide range of project needs
Derive conclusions from analysis to make practical recommendations
Technical writing and communication skills, including the ability to present results based on scientific evidence to audiences of a wide range of technical abilities
Take direction from ASML System Architects and Senior Engineering mentors who are leading the development effort of critical large capital equipment

Required

Candidate for Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering discipline (such as Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering), with at least 2 years completed
Team player willing to work with high level problem solvers on a daily basis
Genuine interest in materials science, engineering, and analysis, as well as in developing precision systems that can perform reliably at customer sites
High energy, self-motivated, quick study, flexible nature
Customer-centric personal ethos
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently and with minimal guidance

Preferred

Experience in Materials science / materials engineering / nanotechnology
Knowledge in Tribology: wear resistance of coatings and materials
Understanding of Physics: plasma, electrostatics and materials compatibility
Familiarity with Mechanical: Small particle behavior in gas flows and high vacuum
Skills in Software: Data analysis and image processing for particle adder detection
Experience in Electrical: Test equipment hardware and software, scripting in Python or Matlab
Knowledge in Chemistry: chemical cleaning methods for vacuum grade cleaning, characterization of coatings, surface treatments
