Responsibilities

Responsible for growing volume of assigned categories at the specific customer account: Quarterback for driving bid wins and defense for assigned categories at the customer, proactively managing all aspects of the bid process from buyer bid insights, THS bid negotiation strategy, bid preparation and execution
Winning new distribution in assigned categories, outside of the bid process, by justifying new shelf space / SKUs for PL items (leveraging customer specific or national category data and insights) and identifying assortment voids and white space opportunities where core capabilities and capacity exist
Responsible for the day-to-day customer buyer relationship for assigned categories and is the primary contact for the customer category team
Sells the TreeHouse value proposition proactively and utilizes the category Annual Playbooks to drive distribution, innovation, seasonal plans and align to category goals
Articulates customer strategy to broader organization. Identify for internal as well as external partners where TreeHouse strengths align with that customer strategy
Analyze Customer data/BI/Circana and identifies actions to drive positive business performance for TreeHouse and Customer
Accountable for accurate demand plan and inputs to business team. Identify gaps to Customer Annual Strategic Plan and propose solutions to address. Influence customer annual plan in conjunction with cross functional partners

Required

Minimum of 5 years of business experience in sales or related field
Proven track record in private label food sales within retail or manufacturing sectors
Skilled in identifying market trends, negotiating, managing product development timelines and ensuring category growth and profitability
Strong bias toward action on resolving issues both internally and externally related to customer relationships
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills and effective relationship building skills
Excellent business analytical skills – use of data to drive product and pricing strategies, and their impact to production forecasts
Solid financial acumen - Understanding of P&L and price implications to optimize customer bid strategies and management of trade funding
Fluency in UNIFY, BI, SAP, SharePoint, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong management skills with demonstrated problem solving ability, skilled at multi-tasking and prioritization, and communication of AOP performance to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization
Capable of building strong internal and external relationships to achieve desired customer outcomes
Ability to transform insights and analytics into customized strategic account plans for deliver growth

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
