Responsibilities
Meet with the right points of contact & persevere to nurture a business relationship
Quarterback the sales cycle, collaborating with internal partners in the design & development of packaging solutions
Prospect for new sales opportunities by doing your due diligence with identifying leads, investigating, analyzing and planning to engage potential customers
Take the lead on contract negotiations & in securing the sale
Maintain partnerships with your customers, assuring Plastipak continues to bring value to their business. This includes, inventory, accruals, rebates, negotiations and amortization agreements
Establish budgets and forecast the growth potential for your territory
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Packaging Engineering
A minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing sales experience in the consumer brand industry, ideally in rigid plastics or other packaging
A proven track record of achieving & exceeding sales goals
Ability to travel up to 50%- 75%
Preferred
Prior experience using SAP is a plus
