The I/E Technician will ensure the safe and reliable operation of the production facility by performing maintenance work on electrical, instrumentation, and analytical equipment.

Responsibilities
Performs a wide variety of skilled mechanic duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical equipment and facilities (pumps, piping, valves, ect.)
Uses a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, gaskets, fittings, etc
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems and ensures work order history is created and updated accordingly
Manage need for critical spares to maintain onsite mechanical equipment
Maintain shop and parts warehouse
Complete and document maintenance activities associated with predictive and corrective maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance database
Qualification
Required
5+ year's experience in an industrial production environment
Ability to interpret equipment drawings required
Functional computer skills required
On-call ability required, 24/7 operations
Willing to support multiple facilities within the TX City /Houston Ship Channel Area
